Our Mendip Tea Llama Experience is a brand new, exciting experience for 2021! It makes a great treat for yourself, or a perfect gift for a friend or loved one to enjoy.

Our visitors have the opportunity to combine the best of both worlds, with this unique opportunity to spend a couple of hours amidst our herd of llamas, finishing off with a scrumptious Mendip tea! 

The session begins with a short introduction to llamas. You will then have the chance to meet all our llamas, learning about their individual personalities and histories. There will be an opportunity to feed and groom them, take a couple for a short walk and even try your hand at a spot of llama agility!   

Once you've had your fill of llama fun, it'll be time to sample the best teas on offer in the Mendips!  After extensive taste-testing, we have teamed up with local producers to bring you the best, locally sourced produce we could find!  Choose  between a cream tea (2 delicious scones with generous portions of clotted cream and jam) or a savoury tea (2 cheese scones served with a pot of homemade pickle and tomatoes).  Both are served on vintage china with your choice of tea, coffee or a soft drink. 

You can chose on the day whether to enjoy your teas back at the top of the valley amidst the llamas, enjoying the fabulous scenery or if you prefer, you can eat inside, in our newly refurbished barn.  The choice is yours! There will also be time before you leave, to browse our little gift shop in search of the perfect souvenir to take home with you, as a permanent reminder of your time with us.

We are based in a peaceful valley on the edge of the Mendips in Somerset.  The majority of the experience takes place on our own land, with the emphasis placed on both llamas and visitors having FUN! You will be the only visitors in attendance at your experience, so you can book, safe in the knowledge you can have as much or as little interaction with the llamas as you want.  Our land is pretty hilly in places which, although this is perfect terrain for llamas, can prove tricky to navigate for people with mobility issues.  However,  here at Hill House Llamas, we do our best to be as inclusive as possible and can adapt the experience accordingly, so please do contact us to discuss any particular requirements you may have.

Price is per person (minimum of 2 people per booking) and the experience must be pre-booked beforehand.  

Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any food allergies that we need to be aware of.

We regret dogs are not allowed amongst the llamas. 

We recommend wearing suitable footwear, for your own safety and comfort.  

Children of all ages are welcome.
